		<description>I&#039;m sure you were a blessing to that lady.  My church helps people whether they go to the church or not.  People can fill out a benevolence form and the church will give them money.  It&#039;s a shame when people get a bad taste for what the church is all about.</description>

		<description>This definately was a God moment for her. She said that churches had turned her away because she wasn&#039;t a member when her home burned down. But, she realized that God had sent me to give her that money for her electricity. I used my tithing money to be able to give her so much, but I absolutely know that is what Jesus would do. I gave her name and number to my church in the offering basket and I hope they follow up. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Your blog made me tear up as well, but they were going to make me do a whole registration thing to post - maybe later. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We help with a local charity that helps homeless families and I plan to take my daughter to visit them so she will have a better understanding of just who &quot;the poor kids&quot; are.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;One book I highly recommend to make yourself feel some serious gratefulness - Up From Slavery. When you face the reality of what Booker T. Washington came from you can really understand your own blessings with much more clarity.</description>
