Nickelodeon Day of Play

Hey kids this is the Nickelodeon Day of Play. Go outside and play. We’re not showing any television shows until after 3 o clock today so unless you want to be bored listening to this message you should just get up and go play. Go swing, ride your bike, skate board, jump on the trampoline, hang out with your friends. Get up off the couch and go play.

Hey kids, this is the Nickelodeon Day of Play. Go outside and play.

I turned on the tv and it actually took me about three recorded loops to get it. They had really stopped showing television on a Saturday (I think) to encourage kids to go outside and play.

Wow – what a clever concept – way to make (most) parents fall in love with a television station.

WOW! To think, PBS mastered this years ago by just putting on a documentary about beavers.
I miss the days of playing outside. I could really climb a tree or two in this nice fall weather.

Brilliant!

Unfortunately my daughter has mastered the tivo.

Jonna sent me. I’m glad she did.

Because kids need to go play at least 3 hrs per year.

At least 3 hours, 4 might be pushing it.
