Precocious puberty is an issue, not least because it can make the girls going through it confused and uncomfortable. However, it's caused by better nutrition and generally occurs after a certain body weight has been reached, meaning that girls are physically capable of childbearing at an earlier age (not to imply that eight year olds are physically capable of having children - there are many studies of young teenagers (11-14), such as child brides in developing countries who are physically maimed by childbirth). This is why some girls with very low body weights, such as anorexics, do not menstruate, because the girl/woman cannot support a child. It is not due to some vaccine or the media. Precocious puberty, as a medical issue (such as in a five year old), can be due to hormonal imbalances (which can be brought on by extreme stress, among other things) and is treatable by a doctor.

I agree with you on not cursing the period.Though, I think parents should start teaching their children about all these type of things earlier because we do realize what is going on in life. So you really should talk about sex, puberty, and appearances because children are more mature than we appear. So see if your children let any signs that they are ready for the talk, and please don't go around it, just ask them if they already know about it. and i think that you parents have it backwards ,its NOT YOUR opinion and thoughts that count its OURS because if you don't tell us we'll just look it all up. we don't mean to be bad we just want to know why you people always whisper. so please just be sincere with them.hope you follow this piece of advice,
                                                 KAREN
