i have found over the last decade or so that i have become pretty intolerent of violence against women in TV and movies. but i’m sadly not surprised to hear that it is rising. scared, but not surprised.

and video games . . .

and movies . . .

and billboards . . .

and magazines . . .

and books . . . .

For some reason, we’re (as a culture and as society) being titillated by violence against women mingled with sexuality. (I bet $100 that most of the depicted violence was in some way sexualized.)

I’m thinking it might be more effective to solve the problem at its core.

. . . but, HOW?
