Because Kindra Binney is passionate about empowering girls she has offered a copy of one of her original paintings. This painting is titled “Someone to Fly Back To.”It is 4″x4″, mounted on 1/2″ thick maple and covered with a thick layer of plastic resin. The resin gives the piece a high gloss, glass like shine and protects it from fading and damage. It is signed and numbered by Kindra herself – limited to 50.
You can see more of Kindra Binney’s art in her Etsy store, where a women’s economic revolution is taking place.
I just love it.

Thats just so cool
I adore Kendra Binney and have been a huge fan of hers for a while now!!
Owls mean a lot to me. I lost my mom when I was only 15 years old and it has been very hard to grow up without her. I see and hear others talk about their relationships with their moms all the time and it breaks my heart. But it also makes me happy because I know that I had a wonderful relationship with my mom before she was taken from this world. She was my best friend, and still is as my angel. Some of the best advice I’ve ever gotten was of course, from her lips. When I would be down on my body as a preteen she would say, “Do you know how many young ladies would kill to have your body? Be happy to be you!” Those words keep me strong in this crazy, beauty- obsessed world we share.
My mom collected owls and although as a child I thought it was a bit strange, I grew to love them myself and then realized I had a large collection from my mom’s stuff. Besides owls I collect and admire big-eyed art of all mediums and genres.
I can not possibly explain how much winning this painting would mean to me.
Have a Beautiful day:}
~Mylisa
What a wonderful artist with a great purpose! Love her work. Thanks, Cindi
That is a pretty cool piece of art.
Hello, I’m new to this site but am anxious to check out more. I love Kendra’s work!!
Me too! Wish I’d actually GET this prize I won from her though! I emailed Kendra again yesterday so let’s hope she just forgot and isn’t a a total flake.
so I’ve been meaning to come back and comment. After all that, Kendra finally got back to me and felt really badly for taking so long to respond and she not only sent me this wonderful painting, but another of my favorites with an owl TOO!!!! I adore them both and they’re on my wall. They look GREAT! Thanks so much!
