TGR Launch Contest #9 – 4 Juku Couture Dolls

Does your daughter want to play with fashion dolls? Mine too.

I like Juku Couture Dolls. They layer more clothes, not less. The bios of each doll is very appropriate for young girls including academic ambition, fitness, pet ownership, artistic endeavors and healthy eating. These dolls even come with causes like the environment. Their body ratios are basically what you would expect freshmen in high school to be – unlike some dolls. The dolls are multi-ethnic and come from all over the world.  Read the whole review here.

Jakks Pacific has been generous enough to offer to give away a set of all 4 dolls!

My daughter really, really wants a Barbie. She doesn’t know it yet, but I’ve got my old Barbies that my mom saved that I’m planning to bring out on the next snow day. Complete with clothes hand-made by my grandmother in all their ’70s glory. I’m on the fence on how I feel about Barbies, but giving my daughter my old ones at least softens the blow. The Juku dolls would add some balance to the collection.

These dolls totally fit with the kind of toys I want to provide my daughter. They are ‘girly’ but actually look like real girls!

Such cute dolls and not outrageously expensive like some of my favorite fashion dolls. Hopefully they’ll become more multicultural in the future, but I think they’re on the right track.

Hello, I have a niece that is overweight and her parents are working with her to slim down. She talks with me and how the kids treat her at school. These dolls sounds like what Caitlin needs at this point in her life. Please enter me in your fantastic drawing. Many thanks, Cindi
